Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer

The Genomics Core Facility offers the use of two Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzers to assist investigators in evaluation of their RNA, DNA, and protein samples.

The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer is a microfluidics-based platform that is used for the quantification and qualification analysis of DNA, RNA, proteins, and cells. Agilent’s 2100 Expert software provides quality and quantity digital data for up to 12 samples in 30 minutes. The results are shown in a gel-like image, electropherogram and tabular formats.

The Genomics Core provides all components of the RNA 6000 Nano kit. Contact Susan Newman or Jana Smith well in advance of your scheduled run to obtain reagents.

Other kits that include sample-specific reagents and chips must be ordered by the researcher for use on the bioanalyzer.
